Tuesday July 24, 2007My sister and I were at Country Jam this year and you guys were awesome!!! We went to Jam last year for the first time and basically went back again this year just to hear you guys!!! You guys are amazing performers and really know how to entertain a crowd!!! To get them up there and get them over their fears and just let them jam is the greatest gift anyone could ever give their child, or anyone for that matter. Papa Dweeb, Joe here again: just wanted to wish you and the family a happy holiday season, a safe 2007 (with all the traveling you do you need safe), and especially a large Thank You for many wonderful hours of entertainment you have provided throughout 2006.
Also wanted to thank you for the glasses you gave Nancy and me @ the Birthday Party. I have them in a display case in my living room. The glasses themselves are not really spectacular, but I use them to illustrate your commitment, dedication and professionalism. No matter how sick, tired, or high the band is, you never fail to provide an excellent show. Had an opportunity to speak briefly with Ben, and was impressed with his humility and sincere appreciation for our support. You did well with that boy.

Hello Papa Dweeb and Ben - I can't begin to tell you how much your visit to Alaina's party meant to her- and her Dad and I. She said it was by far the most incredible time of her life. After you both drove away she sat down at the kitchen table to eat an ice cream sundae with her friends and she just burst into tears, sobbing like crazy. I asked her if she was ok and she said, "Mom, I just can'tbelieve they actually came to my house and this really just happened to me. I just feel like my heart is so big and full and happy I just need to have a good cry and get it out. Thank you for giving me the best birthday of my life. I love you so much - you are the coolest Mom ever!" What more could a Mom want to hear? Thank you just doesn't seem to cover how grateful we are for the time you took to make Alaina feel so special and happy - not tomention putting me in the coolest mom in the world category. Just the factthat you went out of your way to be here and bring your care package full of goodies and reach out to a bunch of nine year old girls was incredible!After all these years, to still be so sweet and humble and generous is justamazing! They all kept saying "I can't believe we actually met and gotkissed on the cheek by a real, live, totally hot, Rock Star!" It was hilarious to hear them tell all their parents about meeting you guys. We are of course recruiting all those parents to the Dweebs night at Black Dawg in December.
Papa Dweeb, the web site is just the coolest! The expressions on Alaina's face just says it all. Not only did you give her a dream birthday, but now she can share it with all the friends and relatives that weren't here. She saw it all just before she left for school today and she was just blown away that it was all on your site already. She said she will e-mail you guys as soon as she gets home from school.
